Children's Programs
We love our Next Generation!
We are a church that loves people to love Jesus Christ. This is never more apparent than in our Children’s Ministry. No matter if you come every Sunday or just to the big community events, every child is loved. Every child is special. We love kids!
On Sundays, we have programs for your child at all worship hours. We have infant and toddler nurseries, as well as a nursery for special needs children. We have options and activities for children 2 years old through 5th grade, including the excellent “Sunday Alive” program. Sunday Alive is the place to be for our Pre-K through 5th graders! These Sunday school classes will engage your kids with fun, edgy, truth-packed teaching. The lessons not only teach the Bible, but how to apply what they’ve learned to their everyday lives. Throughout the year children learn the importance of their relationship with Jesus Christ. Multimedia, hands-on learning with special programs will keep your kids coming back each Sunday!
All children's and youth Sunday School classes visit our Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church & Preschool Library. One book and one video at a time may be checked out for one month’s use. Preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade classes visit the first Sunday of each month and have the additional “treat” of a guest reader. Grades 2 - 5 visit the library with their leader on the third or fourth Sunday.
Children’s time, offered during each worship service for children age 5 though 2nd grade, is not a traditional church school class, but a time when children are taught about our worship service, how to participate in worship, and have a lesson that matches the lectionary reading for the day.
We’re not just about Sunday mornings. We have groups and activities that your kids can get involved in that meet during the week. Whether it’s our church-sponsored Scouting troops, or our Wondrous Wednesday program, one of our many children’s music programs, we even have a fabulous PreSchool, there is plenty to meet the needs of kids and parents alike.
And don’t forget to come to our larger-than-life community events! Each year, these events grow through word of mouth. Kids are having so much fun, and it’s a joy for us to witness and be a part of their lives. Join our email list and visit our event calendar frequently to find the latest info on events like Trunk or Treat, Eggstravaganza, Vacation Bible School, and more.
