Join us for a special event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks.
Sunday, Sept. 11 • 7 p.m.
Fifteen years ago, our nation saw its second deadliest attack ever on its own soil. We invite you to join us on the anniversary of that fateful day as we remember and honor the victims and learn more about what happened before, during and after the attacks.
While much of the news coverage and memorials focus on the World Trade Center, we would like to share a presentation that looks at the attack on the Pentagon.
The program will include prayer, special music and a presentation by Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church member David Grow, a survivor of the Pentagon attack. He will show us what happened that day, the surprises encountered, the lessons learned and how the experience transformed the National Capital Region and its preparedness for any future attack.
The program begins at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary and will be followed by a dessert reception at 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall where we welcome your fellowship, questions and company. The dessert reception is sponsored by OrthoNOW Orthopedic Urgent Care.
This commemoration is provided as a service and resource to our community. All are welcome to join us in this tribute to our nation’s fallen and remembrance of our proven ability to unite and overcome evil as one nation and one people.
Child care will be provided during the program. No charge for the event or child care.]
