As a service to the community, we will present an information program explaining the significant changes in the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) for both individuals and employers.
Important facts you need to know include:
You are required to own qualifying health insurance or pay a penalty for 2015.
All plans are guaranteed issue without pre-existing condition exclusions.
Health insurance exchanges will offer health insurance premium subsidies to qualified applicants, resulting in a significant savings on premiums.
The Affordable Care Act open enrollment period begins November 15, 2014 and ends February 15, 2015. The last day to obtain health insurance coverage for 2015 and avoid the higher penalties in February 15, 2015.
