Report from our mission team as they serve others and share the love of Christ in Westmoreland, TN:
Sunday, July 16
The team was commissioned during the 9 a.m. worship service then piled into a five-vehicle caravan to drive to Westmoreland.
They ran into some bad weather and heavy traffic on the road, but still enjoyed the time spent together.
They spent Sunday night in Kennesaw, GA, and arrived in Westmoreland on Monday. They spent Monday afternoon getting settled, meeting the other teams and preparing to get to work on Tuesday morning.

The work began!
Wednesday, July 19
Report from Sundi:
It was 97° and our amazing outside teams finished washing and painting the fence, mowing, weeding and clearing flower beds.
On the inside jobs, rotten flooring was removed from under a water heater and also in a bathroom under a toilet.
The Lord blessed us with just the right people to know how to brace the floors and replace them, providing the widowed homeowner with a safe environment.
She told us many times how blessed she was to have us there and how appreciative she was.

Another day of hard work:
Friday, July 21
Report from Sundi:
Today was the last day of our mission trip and also a sad one as we will be leaving our Louisiana friends and this amazing experience.
This morning a few of our youth went to Methodist Church food bank in Bethpage and helped load and distribute food to the many waiting cars.
The original job still hadn’t been finished and a few of the most experienced stayed and completed restoring the floors in Miss Jane’s bathroom and water heater room. The rest of us stayed here at Mission Discovery Camp and painted some of the buildings and had fun while working very hard.
I can’t convey the love and the passion for Christ that is felt by all of us during this time. Thank you, Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church, for being there for our locals and many others.
