God,
Once again we come to you with questions. Questions of how and why.
We know that life will not always be a bed of roses. Yet, we continually wonder how so much hatred and intent for violence can seep into it.
We pray for the students and the families of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.
We pray for the people who have been hurt and the families and community that will forever be affected.
God, we ask for peace, for patience, for wisdom, and for help in making this world a safer, more loving and more peaceful place.
We know what happened today is not what you created this world to be. Help us to make it the place you did create it to be: One where we all live in harmony and appreciate all the blessings you have given us in life.
