Christmas in the City
Saturday, Dec. 12 • 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
University Carillon Church
The event serves needy families in the southern end of Seminole County. This celebration provides a bag of food for a Christmas dinner, toys for the children and gift-wrapping of the presents for those who register at Hope Helps (321-765-4984).
Also provided are $15 gift cards for teens and turkeys. Other items given at the event a shoes, coats, gently used jeans, blankets, books and socks and underwear.
TPC will collect all of these items by Sunday, Dec. 6 and the bulk of the items will be sorted on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 7-8:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. To help, sign up on the bulletin board.
All items may be placed in the large red box in the narthex except gift cards, which should be given to Karen Gray, the church secretary, Gail Davis or Virginia Bibliowicz.
Volunteers who want to work at the event should sign up at hopehelps.org soon as spots fill up quickly.
Service and Mission team will pass out food bags on Nov. 15. If you are unable to get a bag that day, any reusable bag will do.
Anyone who would like to receive assistance at Christmas in the City must sign up by Dec. 5. Call Hope Helps at 321-765-4984 to schedule an appointment.
